Lundquist Appraisals & Real Estate Services: Using Technology to Improve Your Customer Experience
At Lundquist Appraisals & Real Estate Services, technology is the name of the game. We're great at making appraising look easy and we believe a lot of it is our ability to increase our productivity with the newest tools. We use the latest technology available today to complete your appraisal without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
If you asked a typical group of appraisers, most would agree that appraising is more complicated than it used to be. We offer the highest quality appraisals, and cutting corners has never been an option for us. Therefore, we've found that the best place to save time is by adjusting our workflow. The appraisers that have regularly adapted to new technology have been the ones able to consistently satisfy their customers with more accurate reports, better customer service and faster turnaround times.
Take a look at how Lundquist Appraisals & Real Estate Services makes ordering easier
In the past, most of our orders were ordered via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back into the office. It might be hours before a client even knew if we could do the order. Things are quite a bit different now and when an order is placed on the site, we receive a text message on our phones. We often log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.
When you order from Lundquist Appraisals & Real Estate Services you can expect us to be concerned about your deadlines. We don't make you wait around for replies because we understand the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. Through features on this website, we can actually reduce the amount of time needed for your appraisal.
Lundquist Appraisals & Real Estate Services is a pioneer in efficient data gathering
One of the most time consuming parts of an appraisal is gathering the data. We spend a great deal of time gathering both specific information about the subject property and general data about the local market and developing trends. Lundquist Appraisals & Real Estate Services takes advantage of technology to close the gap once again.
Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using a program developed for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on site. And instead of using an old tape measure, more and more appraisers are utilizing laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.
All of this technology ensures that the final report is as comprehensive and without error as possible, requiring fewer call-backs and revisions. Our goal is to save you time and money.
Here at Lundquist Appraisals & Real Estate Services we make sure you have more options to receive your report.
The majority of our appraisals are delivered through e-mail as PDF documents. Most of our clients prefer e-mail because we're all accustomed to getting attachments like PDFs in our mail. It's a lot better than the old days when everything was on paper. But, we've even been able to improve on e-mail with how you receive your report with this website.
Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had an attachment blocked because it was too big? We've come up with a solution for those problems, too. When we deliver an appraisal through this website, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. By bypassing email completely we can get around any problems caused by file size. And the best thing is that the file will be hosted on this site for 90 days. So if you lose the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again - saving you time, since we won't even need to run back to the computer.
Digital Workfile Technology
It would probably be easier if appraisers could never have to think about an assignment again after writing and giving it to the client. However, appraisals are employed to demonstrate the condition of a property on the inspection date. Therefore, appraisers are required by law to keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.
Here again, Lundquist Appraisals & Real Estate Services uses all the technology at our disposal technology to improve service. By storing every aspect of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we skip the old-fashioned file folders and only need our computer to recall exactly what that assignment was about.
We just wanted to give you a little bit of insight into how we use our technology daily. Using the right tools, along with the appraisal know-how that you've grown to expect allows the appraiser to save time without cutting corners and deliver a better product to you, our client.
